On June 17th, at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Maria was one of four conductors to conduct in a masterclass held by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and their Music Director Gustavo Gimeno. This masterclass was made possible through Tapestry Opera's initiative: Women in Musical Leadership -
a fellowship that Maria is currently engaged with.
